| This is
a full day's drive with stops and worth every minute. One
of the nation's most scenic with spectacular views, lakes,
wildlife and flora. Mile 17 to mile 33 is characterized by
slow speeds, winding and narrow roads, and steep
drop-offs. Look for wildlife including grizzly bears,
black bears, big horn sheep, mountain goats, elk, deer, moose,
marmots, bald eagles and golden eagles. |

LAKE CIRCLE TOUR |
| Easy
drive around the largest fresh water lake west of the
Mississippi River. The Flathead and Mission Mountains
offer wonderful views throughout the drive. Bigfork is a
must stop with it's quaint village and good restaurants.
Time permitting, Wild Horse Island tours are available out of
Bigfork and Polson. Side trips can include the National
Bison Range just west of Flathead Lake. |
